What is a TIER Score?

Every coin gets two numbers. The Sheldon grade (1–70) is the standard collectors know. The TIER Score (1–1000) goes further, measuring surfaces, strike, luster, eye appeal, and rims, so two coins with the same Sheldon grade can still be told apart.
